I am Emanuele Caggiano, and I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. I am an applied political economist studying how firms interact with the state, with a focus on lobbying, political connections, and public procurement.
My research combines administrative microdata and causal inference methods to analyze how firms respond to political incentives and how private interests shape public decision-making.
